- Hey Cove, long time, No see.
I mean, how is that possible? You cannot type "No see". It should be "no seen". SHAME!

| Yongi you doesnt right xD Jk's.
P.S try and say " no see ", "no seen" sounds better. and it's correct. It's like : "Hey Bob, long time no seen." The verb "seen" is in past.

| Well Hamster.. do your homework... it might sound right to you.. but it's not.
"Long time no see" is an old expression. It has been written like that for ages. Spoken by natives.
"Long time no seen" well the tense seems to be wrong. Seen would be used in "Haven't seen you in a long time."

| After my internet was down, causing me to lose my download (which was a book for personal study), I come back here to find everyone debating on my grammar.
I was indeed correct to type "Long time, no see.", but not right to have a capital 'N' with the word "No".
"Hey Cove, long time, no see."
I think I was right in writing that sentence : however, I might be wrong.
So, for enjoyment, I provide a link to a website which states the usage of commas. http://www.towson.edu/ows/moduleCOMMA.htm
Enjoy. | |

| Yongi you where right. Cove really posted something to prove his right. Actually Cove, i think those are both right. Edit : Can you prove that "Long time no see" is an old expression? - Quote :
- Seen would be used in "Haven't seen you in a long time."
"Haven't seen" sounds better then "No see". You may be right.
